Rana Fest
I created a festival conference called Rana fest for Black womxn. This made-up festival is to empower black womxn. For this project, we had to create a logo, pamphlet, map, and lineup for the conference. My goal for my pamphlet was to make everything a poster, therefor everything is visually pleasing and has perforated folds created into a collectible poster/piece of art.
Faces :)
I've always loved the expressions of people. Capturing people's faces in both photograph and illustration has always been the subject of my art. Here is a compilation of faces I've drawn and captured :) Doodles, photoshoots, accidental photos, paintings, planned out illustrations, and unfinished work.
Grapus Collective
The prompt of this project was to create a book from a set list of graphic designers. I wrote an essay, designed the layout, and created 2 double-page saddles stitch-bound hard copy of the book.

The process
This album showcases a collection of behind-the-scenes moments, featuring photographs and screenshots that capture the process of creating each artwork. While we often admire the final result, the journey of creation can be just as captivating and meaningful.
Everyday moments
A series of mostly 2 toned drawings of moments in everyday life. These are drawing of photos I haven taken over the years. These illustrations are posted monthly on my instagram which you can find on the contact me page.

Series of black and white lined work replicating the formations of mountains, sky, and isotope lines.
Kya young wild and free
This drawing of Kya is from a photograph I took of her. I drew this on procreate. While drawing it resembled Snoop Dogs's young wild and free cover album so I decided to make a variation of it.

word play
This project "Typography as text and image" had the prompt to use english words to create a visual to represent the word. The project was limited by using 1 of 2 fonts for all 6 and by only using the letters of the word itself. We were not allowed to stretch the type, use color, change the opacity nor the change the weight of the letter.
I started this by looking up words in the dictionary, and on a scrap piece of paper practicing using serif and sans serif when writing certain letters till I came up with 50+ designs for various words

Got Fresh Water
I created a campaign promoting the conservation of water. Inspired by "Got Milk" I created a "Got fresh water" campaign, aimed towards raising awareness on water usage and consumption. The prompt was to create five different posters. Three of those being different, and two poster as versions of one of the three to be set at a larger scale.
Bus stop Ad: Stop the Spread KN95
I created a fake ad for KN95 mask. The prompt of this project was to use photoshop to modify self taken photos and adding text to make an advertisement. I chose the K95 mask, to create butterfly wings for a spring ad.
Redesign a book: The Perks of Being a Wall Flower
The prompt of this project was to create a book cover to a book that I have read. I chose the Perks of Being a Wallflower, and using photoshop and illustrator I created a front, back and spine design based on the content in the book.
